PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Serpentine Crystals Set In Copper Art Wire Wrap Pendant
This serpentine was mined in Barberton South Africa. The crystals are polished in a Malagasy owned lapidary workshop. Most people associate barberton for its rare deposits of stichtite, first described back in 1921. However associated to these deposits are fairly extensive serpentine exposures which range in colour from black to variable tones of green. Very lightweight and soft material. These may not be A grade crystals but the amount of work gone into polishing and hand crafting these wraps is quite extensive.
The pendants are all locally manufactured. The copper wire wraps are all made in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. A very beautiful range of pendants which are all unique and practically one of a kind copper jewellery pieces.
