Direct from the Luena pegmatites, Congo, named for their chaotic, inclusion-packed interiors. Formed from the final superheated fluids in cooling magma pockets, every cluster can hosts a wild mix of minerals including Clear, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, Citrine, Goethite needles, Rutile, Red Hematite Phantoms, Brown Iron/Limonite Phantoms, Specular Hematite Inclusions,  microcline, orthoclase, mica flakes, creating limitless color flecks and phantoms inside gemmy to translucent quartz. This batch has nice Amethyst and they are very shiny, unique and rare.  Classic Katanga habit with sharp terminations, etched faces and dramatic multi-phase growth.
