A Pair of Polished Purple Silky Stichtite with Green Serpentine Standing Display Pieces. Rare Material from Kaap se Hoek, near Barberton, South Africa. Some of the purple threads in these are Chatoyant. 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  

Stichtite, a rare mineral known for its vibrant purple hues. Found in small deposits in South Africa, this Chromium and Magnesium Carbonate mineral ranges in color from soft pinks and lilacs to deep purples. Formed as an alteration product of Chromite within Serpentine deposits, Stichtite's bright purple clusters contrast beautifully with its green Serpentine matrix.
