Mined in Angola and expertly polished in a Malagasy-owned workshop in South Africa, these quartz specimens are truly one-of-a-kind.
Angolan quartz is primarily composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂) and can present as both quartz and smoky quartz, the latter resulting from the presence of aluminum and radiation exposure. The material typically features a dual finish, with approximately half of the surface polished to enhance luster and clarity, while the other half retains its natural texture, showcasing primary crystal faces and surface features.
