Sunstone is a fascinating geological formation that features the vibrant and shimmering mineral sunstone embedded within a host rock. Sunstone itself is a feldspar mineral, known for its distinctive glittering effect, caused by tiny inclusions of hematite or goethite that reflect light. 

Quartzite is primarily composed of quartz grains that have been fused together through heat and pressure, creating a hard and durable matrix that often exhibits a range of colors from light to dark.
