Natural Stichtite Cobbed Specimens x 2,02 Kg Lot From Barberton, South Africa
RETAIL PRICE
A NOTE FROM NICK
A tray of 2,02 kg lot of cobbed natural silky purple Stichtite and green Serpentine specimens. This rare purple material from Kaapsehoop has silky chatoyant threads running through green Serpentine. We buy the raw material straight from the miners, so this is a very reasonable price for Stichtite, otherwise only found in Tasmania.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
South African Stichtite
Stichtite, a rare mineral known for its vibrant purple hues. Found in small deposits in South Africa, this Chromium and Magnesium Carbonate mineral ranges in color from soft pinks and lilacs to deep purples. Formed as an alteration product of Chromite within Serpentine deposits, Stichtite's bright purple clusters contrast beautifully with its green Serpentine matrix.
