A NOTE FROM NICK
A pair of natural rare Libethenite specimens, a secondary Copper Phosphate mineral, with dark green orthorhombic crystals on a Hematite and Dolomite matrix. Shiny well formed crystals. We have only seen these a couple times from Congo over the last 30 odd years of dealing directly in Congo. These are large specimens of approx. 10- 13 cm.

Rare Mineral from the Congo - Libethenite
Libethenite from the Congo is a rare and Copper Phosphate mineral highly valued by collectors for its deep green to bluish-green color and crystal formations. Typically found in the oxidized zones of Copper deposits, Congo's Libethenite specimens are renowned for their sharp, well-formed prismatic to tabular crystals, often displaying a vitreous lustre. These specimens may occur as isolated crystals or drusy clusters on a matrix.
