Candle Quartz: A Unique and Beautiful Quartz Formation from Madagascar

Candle Quartz is a variety of Quartz, often called Ananas/Pineapple Quartz, characterized by its white patina exterior with  cascading side crystals, resembling candle wax, hence the name. This unique form of Quartz is found in Madagascar, known for producing a wide range of quartz varieties both in the north and south of the country. The deposits yield larger single crystals, clusters and plate-like specimens, often featuring complex and dense arrangements of small crystals occasionally displaying Hematoid coloration.
