Candle Quartz, traded as Anananas, is a distinctive variety of quartz sourced from Antsirabe in Madagascar. It features a central quartz point surrounded by cascading smaller crystal terminations that create a textured, pineapple-like appearance and is famous for its "love star" formations. The surface displays a characteristic white patina resembling dripped candle wax, with a smooth to slightly rough texture and vitreous lustre. This material forms in limited deposits near Antsirabe and is prized for its unique structure and natural aesthetic.
