General Description
Lazulite is a blue mineral containing Magnesium, Iron, and Aluminium Phosphate. Lazulite crystallizes in the monoclinic system but material from Madagascar is from a massive non-crystalline deposit. Lazulite is a fairly rare stone which has a range of colour intensities from lighter blue with sometimes banded colour distribution else more solid colours of deeper darker blue. The material itself tends to have minor specular-like ash flake looking inclusions. Nick selects from only the top 20% of material for the intensity of colour and quality polished finish.
