General Description
Luena in recent years has almost exclusively been producing clear to smokey cascading phantom material! Unfortunately, the citrine has become exceptionally rare since even pre-covid. The only way forward is to support the mining efforts by purchasing that which is mined. We hope that another citrine rich section will be found. Generally Speaking - Luena produces classic cascading quartz material but is obviously world renowned for its citrine. The material has stunning optic to near optic clarity and a gentle Smokey colour, often with phantoms in the crystals. This is highly selected material which should be mostly intact else you may encounter minor damages on some pieces which is typical of regional damage. Damage results from the several hour motorbike journey the material undergoes prior to reaching any desirable road. Deposits are exceptionally remote! and sporadic political instability make outside access even more difficult. Price is grade dependant. Item/s are as shown.Product Data
