An XXL 296 x 240 x 185 mm sized beautifully polished A Grade Smokey Window Quartz crystal. This castle crystal displays large enhydro gas bubbles in water chambers with lots of gas vesicles, vug cavities, and bright reflective and rainbow veils. Just beautiful!!

Malagasy Smokey Quartz Castle Crystal
Madagascar Smokey Quartz, sourced from the Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa regions, is a silicon dioxide gemstone renowned for its translucent smoky brown to deep greyish-black hues, often with exceptional clarity, while its Morion Smokey Quartz variant stands out for its nearly opaque, intense black-brown to jet-black coloration. With a Mohs hardness of 7, both varieties form in pegmatites and granite cavities, their colors resulting from natural irradiation and trace aluminium impurities.
