A XL 199 x 143 x 136 mm sized superb polished Septerye Sauvage "Dragons Egg" geode. These round Septarian nodules have open vug interiors lined with black Calcite and small gypsum crystals. Polished on the outside with the interior left natural. Fluoresces under UV light. A Substantial Dragons Egg at approx. 20cm.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Septerye Sauvage
The Septerye Sauvage is a tri-color gemstone composed of rich brown Aragonite, vibrant yellow Calcite, and subtle grey Limestone, formed 50-70 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period. Born from volcanic sediment and ancient marine life remains, these nodules from Madagascar feature stunning internal cracks filled with shimmering crystals. Partially polished to highlight their raw, natural interior, they are crafted into eggs, spheres, crystals or hearts, revealing intricate patterns that capture the wild, mythical allure of a dragon’s treasure.
