Crystal Centered Amethyst and Quartz Agate Geodes  
Amethyst Agate crystal plates and geodes from Maintirano in Madagascar are a unique specimen, varying in color intensity from clear, lilac to purple Amethyst crystals and unique banded Agate patterns. The geodes often feature sparkling center crystals within hollow cavities, while the outer layers display striking concentric bands of Agate in various shades of white, grey, and sometimes beige or brown.
