A large 119 x 104 x 131 mm beautifully polished clear-white Smokey Quartz crystal with a lot of Specular hematite and Lepidocrocite silver and black dot and disc inclusions on one whole side of the termination and around the top area of the crystal on all sides.

Malagasy Smokey Quartz Crystal
Madagascar Smokey Quartz, sourced from the Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa regions, is a silicon dioxide gemstone renowned for its translucent smoky brown to deep greyish-black hues, often with exceptional clarity, while its Morion Smokey Quartz variant stands out for its nearly opaque, intense black-brown to jet-black coloration. With a Mohs hardness of 7, both varieties form in pegmatites and granite cavities, their colors resulting from natural irradiation and trace aluminium impurities.
