A large flat of 12 skilfully polished Stepped, Skeletal Elestial Quartz crystals from Madagascar. The secondary crystal growth and stepped Elestial formations at the termination, with natural crystallisation on the stems, make these genuinely interesting collector pieces. Iron oxide staining along the growth lines adds real character to an already unusual crystal habit. Rare, this is the only batch. Enjoy!

Malagasy Elestial Quartz Crystals
Malagasy Elestial Quartz. A skeletal, sometimes tabular translucent variety of Quartz c These specimens display an Elestial growth habit, where secondary crystals have developed across the faces and terminations of the primary crystal, creating a stepped, layered surface texture formed by multiple interrupted growth phases over time. Natural iron oxide inclusions along the growth interruption lines produce warm orange-brown staining that contrasts beautifully against the pale milky-white crystal body. The combination of the Elestial habit and translucency makes these among the more collectible natural Quartz forms Madagascar produces.
