PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Golden Citrine From Madagascar
Polished Citrine crystals, natural light golden yellow to deep honey coloration from Iron oxidation, clear to translucent quartz with high Polish. Crystals all fully polished, showing sharp hexagonal form. Heat-free, untreated material. Most Citrine on the market is heated Amethyst or "Imperial Citrine" but natural Yellow is actually quite rare to find. Because of the price of rough Citrine faceting material, its also quite difficult to persuade the miners to keep the natural shaped crystals as they are rather than cobbing them for facet/cabochon material that they get thousands for per kg, so they can get pricey. We try to do this as economically as possible.
