Calcite is renowned for its widespread occurrence and diverse color range, forming in Rhombohedral crystalline structures typically found in sedimentary rocks such as limestone and marble. Many specimens feature minor inclusions of Biotite Mica or Black Tourmaline schorl, enhancing their geological interest and uniqueness. Calcite is relatively soft and can be scratched easily, making it accessible for various applications and displays.
