These Barite specimens from Congo form well developed tabular to bladed crystals that frequently host or are closely associated with a wide variety of minerals including Malachite, Chrysocolla, Calcite, Cerussite, Galena and Chalcopyrite. The transparent to translucent Barite combined with colourful secondary minerals creates attractive matrix specimens and single crystals with interesting colour zoning and mineral associations.
