We're absolutely in love with this new material and its complex, unique habits!
Albert, who has been with Toprock for several decades, has an inspiring story. Originally from the Basotho community, he started as a grounds worker and has grown to become our head rock cleaner, managing a small team. Before the COVID pandemic, Albert would occasionally venture into the Lesotho highlands to mine quartz, uncovering exceptional specimens ranging from orange Stilbite to stunning hollow spear quartz fingers.
This new batch of material is the first to be mined since the pandemic, and it showcases a unique and exceptionally beautiful habit that is highly collectible. We’re hopeful to see more incredible material emerging from the highland Kingdom of Lesotho in the coming months and years. Keep an eye out for updates from Albert's Mountain!
