Drusy-coated Chrysocolla with Hemimorphite and Malachite on a Dolomite matrix from the Lupoto Mine in the Katanga Province, DR Congo, is a breathtaking mineral specimen featuring a dazzling array of colors and textures. The Chrysocolla, a copper silicate, displays its signature vibrant blue-green hues, enhanced by a sparkling drusy coating of tiny, glittering crystals that catch the light beautifully. Hemimorphite, a zinc silicate, adds delicate powder-white botryoids or drusy layers, while Malachite contributes rich green accents from its copper carbonate composition. These specimens are prized for their intricate layering and rare pseudomorphic formations.
