Shattuckite from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is a Copper Silicate Hydroxide mineral with the chemical formula Cu5(SiO3)4(OH)2, known for its vibrant blue to green-blue hues. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, often forming in fibrous, botryoidal, or massive structures. This mineral is typically found in the oxidation zones of Copper deposits, where primary Copper minerals like Malachite and Azurite have undergone weathering.
