A stunning white, grey and orange Agate with a beautiful white crystalline geode centre. The face of the geode has been polished, but with a natural crystalline geode centre, and the whole matrix has been left rugged and natural with groovy, bright orange cavities. Beauty!
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Agate Geodes from Madagascar
Agate geodes from Madagascar are nodules of banded Chalcedony that form in volcanic rock. They are sourced from locations including Nosy Varika and Maintirano as well as other areas in the country. They are available in natural form, polished on one side to display the interior, or fully polished. These geodes typically show concentric banding in shades of white, grey, brown, pink, and orange, often with Quartz crystal centres. Madagascar is a primary source, along with Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, and other volcanic regions worldwide. Agate is a variety of microcrystalline quartz known for its durability, smooth texture, and natural patterns formed by mineral-rich groundwater.
