The secondary crystal growth and stepped Elestial formations at the termination make these are genuinely interesting collector pieces. Iron oxide staining along the growth lines adds real character to an already unusual crystal habit.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Malagasy Girasol Elestial Quartz
Malagasy Elestial Quartz, Girasol Quartz. These specimens display an Elestial growth habit, where secondary crystals have developed across the faces and terminations of the primary crystal, creating a stepped, layered surface texture formed by multiple interrupted growth phases over time. Natural iron oxide inclusions along the growth interruption lines produce warm orange-brown staining that contrasts beautifully against the pale milky-white crystal body.
