A superb pair of expertly polished Septerye Sauvage "Dragons Egg" geodes. These round Septarian eggs have cracked interiors lined with black Calcite and one with small gypsum crystals. Polished on the outside with the interiors left natural.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Septerye Sauvage
The Septerye Sauvage is a tri-color gemstone composed of brown Aragonite, yellow Calcite, and subtle grey Limestone, formed 50-70 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period. Born from volcanic sediment and ancient marine life remains, these nodules from Madagascar feature stunning internal cracks filled with shimmering crystals. Partially polished to highlight their raw, natural exterior, they are crafted into eggs, spheres, crystals or hearts, revealing their intricate patterns.
