While the rare and valuable variety of Onyx features distinct black and white parallel bands, our genuine Onyx stones are predominantly uniform black, offering a sleek and classic look. Each stone exhibits a unique color, shaped and smoothed through a mechanical tumbling process. This method mimics the natural wear and tear that stones would experience at the bottom of riverbeds, results in beautifully polished, smooth surfaces that doesn’t take millions of years to form. Tumbled stones also known as "polished stones" or "baroque gems." are perfect for jewelry makers, crafters, and those who enjoy adding a touch of natural beauty to their home décor. These stones are also popular in various New Age practices. All of our tumbled stones are made in South Africa not China.
