Known as one of the most visually captivating black minerals, it often appears as fine, dense needles within Quartz, where it is known as Tourmalinated Quartz. Tourmaline from the Erongo Mountains is especially prized for its Acicular and "Mercedes" style terminations, found either as individual crystals or in clusters.
