A NOTE FROM NICK
A tray of 6 natural Barite specimens featuring sharp bladed crystals, with Malachite. Nice small specimens with interesting displayed elongated prismatic blades crystal formations. These are hard to photograph, but are very nice classic and rare specimens that we very rarely get in from Congo. Copper and Malachite colouration in the well formed crystals.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Barite with Rich Mineral Inclusions – Congo
These Barite specimens from Congo form well developed tabular to bladed crystals that frequently host or are closely associated with a wide variety of minerals including Malachite, Chrysocolla, Calcite, Cerussite, Galena and Chalcopyrite. The transparent to translucent Barite combined with colourful secondary minerals creates attractive matrix specimens and single crystals with interesting colour zoning and mineral associations. Common locations include Shangulowé Mine and Tenke Fungurume Mine in Congo.
