A pair of smoking hot, wispy Smokey Quartz display crystals. One large 14cm piece and one smaller 11cm piece. Both of them have beautiful gas vesicles inside. The larger piece also has a natural internal crystalline chamber.

Malagasy Smokey Quartz Essentials
Madagascar Smokey Quartz, sourced from the Antsirabe and Fianarantsoa regions, is a silicon dioxide gemstone renowned for its translucent smoky brown to deep greyish-black hues, often with exceptional clarity, while its Morion Smokey Quartz variant stands out for its nearly opaque, intense black-brown to jet-black coloration. With a Mohs hardness of 7, both varieties form in pegmatites and granite cavities, their colors resulting from natural irradiation and trace aluminium impurities.
