PRODUCT INFORMATION

General Description

This is perhaps one of the most exciting deposits we have seen in years! The area has produced beautiful quartz, calcite and stilbite several years ago! Covid really slowed down our efforts in the region! Albert is a legend! Generally Speaking - Lesotho Mountain Quartz/ Snow fingers. These are crystalline coated hollow fingers, stalagmitic, sceptre and botryoidal pseudomorph drusy quartz coated formations after Calcite. Some have central Dogtooth Calcite crystals displayed on them and the hollow formations are the shells of the disseminated calcite. This is a new, unique and exceptionally beautiful find and we can’t wait to see what else comes out of Albert's Mountain, Lesotho. Albert has been working for Toprock for several decades, he belongs to the Puti Tribe, and over the years has grown from a grounds worker to head rock cleaner who manages a small team. Prior to the Covid pandemic he infrequently went into the Lesotho highlands to mine for quartz and has found some exceptional material in the past. Ranging from orange stilbite to stunning spear hollow quartz fingers! This is the first batch of material mined since the end of the Covid nonsense. A unique and exceptionally beautiful habit! Very collectable from Albert's Mountain! We hope to see more material coming out of the highland Kingdom of Lesotho in the coming months and years. Price is grade dependant. Item/s are as shown.
