The rough thicker Mtorolite material of good quality sells at $90 per lb at Gem shows at is often sold as Royal Jade and Star Chrysoprase. We found the thinner plates directly at the mine in Zimbabwe that have vugs and crystals in them and polished them into affordable specimens. This is a Chrome Chrysoprase/Chacledony (rather than the normal Nickel Green Chrysoprase)

This unique mineral is typically opaque with a glassy to waxy luster and is prized for its rich color, often mistaken for Jade due to its resemblance.
