Mottled Black & White Gabbro / Mystic Merlinite From Madagascar 

Gabbro is a fascinating igneous rock that forms deep beneath the Earth’s surface as magnesium- and iron-rich magma cools slowly over time. This slow cooling process gives Gabbro its coarse, textured grains, making it quite different from its cousin, basalt, which has a fine-grained look due to faster cooling. Often called Merlinite, Gabbro has a dramatic black matrix that showcases beautiful grey to white speckles and inclusions.
