Polished Cleoniceras Jigsaw Ammonite – Tulear, Madagascar
Jigsaw Perisphinctes Ammonites from the Upper Jurassic (Oxfordian) of Tulear, Madagascar, consist of naturally split halves with perfect interlocking suture lines that fit together like puzzle pieces when matched. The original shell is fully dissolved, replaced by tan-to-honey calcite, revealing deeply incised, highly complex ammonitic sutures with dense, branched lobation across the entire surface.
