This material comes from Tshipise (which means Hot Place in the Vhembe tongue) this was formed in hydrothermal vents...of which there is still a big Hot Spring there today right at the mouth of Tshipise hill, shaped like a Dragon!

Dragons Blood Stone Bastite, a rare material sourced from Tshipise, renowned for its thermal hot springs. This exceptional collection features a captivating blend of green, red, and earthy hues, reminiscent of Dragons Bloodstone. Bastite is a combination of Epidote and Piemontite, showcasing the geological complexity and rarity of this material. Piemontite, a member of the Epidote group. Epidote, often found in metamorphic rocks like Marble and Schistose formations, results from hydrothermal alterations in various igneous rocks.
