General Description

Lovely Blue Tigers Eye (Hawk Eye) polished mini tumble stones. Hawk's Eye gain their silky, lustrous appearance from the parallel intergrowth of Quartz crystals and altered amphibole fibers that have mostly turned into Limonite. Occurring in mostly thin bands of chatoyant gold, blue or red colours. Each stone exhibits a unique color and is shaped and smoothed through a mechanical tumbling process. This method mimics the natural wear and tear that stones would experience at the bottom of riverbeds and results in beautifully polished, smooth surfaces that doesn’t take millions of years to form. Tumbled stones also known as "polished stones" or "baroque gems." are perfect for jewelry makers, crafters, and those who enjoy adding a touch of natural beauty to their home décor. These stones are also popular in various New Age practices. All of our tumbled stones are made in South Africa not China.
