General Description
Prehnite, an inosilicate of Calcium and Aluminium, has always been a fairly rare mineral which is classic and collectible. Namibia yields some very nice specimens with the most recent deposit yielding semi botryoidal like plate specimens of green to blue green crystals which are variable associated with either a Patina or specular like black features with other sections of the deposit being spotlessly clean.
