General Description
A beautiful range of polished cabochons of Rubellite in a Quartz matrix which have been manufactured in Madagascar from highly selected material. The wire wraps have been done locally by an Artisan called Leanne in Kwazulu Natal South Africa. This is a very nice range of jewellery items ideal for a small retailer in the alternative sector. A beautiful range of hand made items.
Generally Speaking - A very nice polished range of Quartz with specular Rubellite Tourmaline inclusions. The Quartz matrix ranges from snow white to light grey with sometimes complex stunning patterns. The colour intensity of the Rubellite is somewhat variable across the deposit, with the density of the inclusions also being variable. This is from Madagascar and was originally interpreted as Eudialyte but tests conducted in Canada confirmed Tourmaline group mineral. Very nice and not commonly available.
The photographs are representative of either the entire stock item offered, else a representative sample of the broader batch. Variation is to be expected across individually selected batches. However, all batches / items within this stock item are fully sorted and selected accordingly to associated grade.
