General Description
A grade small beautiful selected spheres! Orange calcite pieces featuring rare fluorite inclusions! These polished items showcase vibrant orange calcite adorned with fluorite in varying shades of pale to darker purple, exhibiting gemmy transparency. Initially underestimated, the unique association of calcite and fluorite sparked our excitement and appreciation for its rarity. With both minerals occurring together in deposits being a rare occurrence, we seized the opportunity to acquire the entire batch. Calcite, a calcium carbonate mineral, forms in the trigonal crystal system and is renowned for its diverse range of colours and formations. Fluorite, a calcium fluoride mineral, crystallizes in the cubic system and is prized for its fluorescence and distinctive colour variations. This deposit, emerging in 2022 to early 2023, represents a significant find due to its scarcity and the exceptional beauty of the polished items. Mined and polished in limited quantities to date, these items are highly collectible and appeal to enthusiasts of unique and unusual mineral formations.
