Natural XXL Dioptase on Dolomite Museum Specimen x 1 From Likasi, Congo
A NOTE FROM NICK
An XXL 15.4 kg Natural Museum Dioptase Specimen. This is a 42cm long specimen!! A Massive piece for Dioptase and it is a stunning formation with Dark Emerald Green Shiny Dioptase Crystals covering a large percentage of the front face of the contrasting white Dolomite matrix. It does have 5% scuffs on crystals (which is actually amazing on a piece of this size) . This is Centre Stage for a real professional Mineral Collectors Cabinet or a Museum, as it's probably 2-4 times the size of the average Museum Dioptase specimen. This is approximately $10 000, which is not small change by any stretch of the imagination, but it should be $45000!
