Nice soft and silky textured bright purple small cobbed pieces of rare Stichtite. Mainly 98% found in South Africa and Tasmania in smallish pockets and veins.

Rough Stichtite & Green Serpentine specimens - good lapidary material 

Stichtite, a rare mineral known for its vibrant purple hues. Found in small deposits in South Africa, this Chromium and Magnesium Carbonate mineral ranges in color from soft pinks and lilacs to deep purples. Formed as an alteration product of Chromite within Serpentine deposits, Stichtite's bright purple clusters contrast beautifully with its green Serpentine matrix.
