The rich combination of green, red, and earthy hues presents an exquisite colour mix reminiscent of Dragons Blood Stone. These specimens, often referred to as Dragons Blood Stone due to their striking appearance, showcase a captivating blend of colours unique to this region. Bastite, a combination of Epidote and Piedmontite, reflects the geological complexity and rarity of this material. Piedmontite, a member of the Epidote group, displays hues ranging from red to reddish-brown or red-black, exhibiting a vitreous lustre and a red streak. Epidote, while abundantly found in metamorphic rocks like Marble and Schistose formations, is an outcome of hydrothermal alterations in various igneous rocks.
