General Description
Labradorite is an exceptional rock renowned for its chatoyancy in colours which range from blue, yellow, pink, purple and sometimes red. The blue is most common with other colours being substantially less common. This material is exceptionally difficult to polish to exposure the chatoyancy, this alone is a rare skill, with only a very small percentage of worked material yielding positive results. We exclusively select each piece for top quality chatoyancy but form and shape also play a major role. This is a wonderful batch of polished items. Price is grade dependent.
