Carnelian, an exquisite orange variety of Chalcedony from the Quartz family, is celebrated for its brilliant range of colors, from pale pinkish-orange to deep rusty brown. Known for its vivid orange and red-orange hues, Carnelian’s striking color is due to the presence of colloidally dispersed hematite (iron oxide).

Our collection features some of the finest Carnelian sourced from Madagascar, renowned for producing some of the world's best specimens. Each piece is beautifully polished, showcasing complex crystalline vug-like features and banded patterns with contrasting white to peach-colored Quartz-like intrusions.

Fissures and vug-like features are often preserved during polishing to minimize waste, adding to the unique character of each piece. The quality of the Carnelian is graded based on color intensity and the contrast of patterns.
