Madagascar Smokey Quartz and Morion Smokey Quartz
Madagascar Smokey Quartz, sourced from the Anzojorabe region, is a unique Smokey Quartz variety with feint, but distinct Wispy Smokey Phantoms in bright, clear Quartz. With a Mohs hardness of 7, both varieties form in pegmatites and granite cavities, their colors resulting from natural irradiation and trace aluminum impurities.
