General Description
Good to Very good grade specimen! Dioptase which has been mined in the Likasi region of Congo has produced some beautiful emerald green specimens of Dioptase, which have come in at a very affordable price. The material was sourced by Nick on his trip to Congo in 2022 which was quite an adventure. The specimens often have particularly larger crystals as opposed to the more drusy-like stuff which was mined a few years back from a different location. Absolutely stunning specimens for the collectors. Dioptase is an intense emerald-green to bluish-green Copper cyclosilicate mineral. It is transparent to translucent. Its lustre is vitreous to sub-adamantine. Highly sought after mineral species! Price is grade dependant. Item/s are as shown.Product Data
