Dark Purple Amethyst specimens from Zambia are harder to get hold of than the Brazilian material. These plate-like specimens feature densely packed, relatively small crystals. Additionally, some deposits yield specimens that showcase cubic-like crystal formations, further enhancing their visual appeal.
