Crystalline agate geodes are a fairly staple product from Madagascar. The agate is sources country wide and mostly polished in Tana. The material range in colour from grey to blues and whites with crystals being mostly white or amethyst with haematoid like specimens be far less common. The nodules are often cut in half to expose the geode crystalline surface and then polished on the cut surface with the balance being with natural else partly polished with etched like natural vug like features. This is always a very accessible and very affordable product line. Only the top 20% of material is selected in Madagascar. Price is grade dependant. Items are as shown.
