Natural Dioptase Classic Emerald Green Specimen With Crystals On 4 Sides Has Scratches But Nice Would be R20K+ x 1 From Mashamba West, Congo

Brazzaville recently yielded some of the best Museum quality gemmy crystalline clusters of Dioptase. New material from the Mashamba Mine is now producing prismatic crystals associated to druzy coated quartz and often other associated minerals. The last two odd years have yields more collector and museum grade specimens of dioptase than the previous 2 decades since the Tsumeb specimens. Generally speaking Dioptase is an exceptionally rare material. This often forms in glistening druzy/sugary and classic cubic Emerald green crystallisation forms with prismatic forms being extremely rare. Brazzaville specimens were often associated with bright gemmy yellow Wulfenite crystals with smaller numbers of specimens having botryoidal hollow domes of Dioptase. Every single piece has been graded and priced according to quality by Nick. Dioptase is rare and comes in very sporadically, there is a reasonable amount coming from this mine, for now, but it is often years between decent Dioptase finds. Item/s is as shown.
