A monster sized dioptase specimen which has a large crystalline surface exposed on a fairly sizable piece of dolomite matrix! The individual crystals range from small to fairly large in a dense arrangement. Dioptase specimens this large are exceptionally rare, we have obtained the lions share of all specimens mined in Congo over the last couple of years.
