The Democratic Republic of the Congo produces high-quality specimens, mainly from the Tantara Mine in the Shinkolobwe area, Haut-Katanga Province. These pieces typically form as botryoidal crusts, radiating fibrous and acicular crystals, silky aggregates, and spherulitic clusters, often associated with Malachite, Chrysocolla, Dioptase, Quartz, Azurite, and Cuprite. Prized by collectors for intense colour and excellent lustre.
